Happy Hump Day!

This means after today, I’m off the next two days!!! Woohoo!! I totally need it after the past 3 work days!! I am SLAMMED ALL 4 days I work now!! Don’t get me wrong, I love being busy, but shew, I’m tired!!!

Thank goodness, the past week I’ve felt ok. I still haven’t been able to eat much or keep anything down (which is prob why I’m soo tired and don’t have a lot of energy). But the pain has partially subsided a bit. I do still have sharp, piercing pains in my pelvic area sporadically, but at least it’s not constant now.

This means on my good days, I am able again to get up early, get my workout in, and get my day started! The past week, I have been able to start taking my vitamins and such again. I haven’t been able to take them because I couldn’t keep them down. And let me tell you…. HOLY MOLY! They have really messed with my belly. Sometimes I can’t stay off the toilet (just being real). Hopefully, it gets better once I get used to taking them again! (The damn iron and magnesium tear me up!) OK, let’s switch subjects and not talk about poop.

I was able to get my hands on 3 books this week. Well…. 1 book, one journal, and 1 cookbook. With this post, I’m gonna spotlight the journal. I highly recommend you order one. It’s called the Endometriosis Journal. I’m glad I got it in before my next cycle. In it, you can log your cycle, your symptoms, your food, water intake, and your sleep. This one was off of Amazon and was less than $10, so not bad at all! If you order one or have one… let me know what you think!

Ok, gonna jump off here and get ready for my work Zoom meeting and then my FULL ass day of work!! Have a good rest of the week. I’ll drop another post this weekend!

How do you motivate to push through on those good days? It is so easy to just relax when the pain is minimal.

    1. Hi Nicole! Thats a very good question. I just remember that I am lucky to still be here and mobile. That I do have many blessings in my life and i dont want endo to keep me from living my life to its fullest potential. Yes some days/weeks/months may be harder than others, but on the better or ok days I just have to keep going. Ive learned to take advantage of my better days. But believe me… I still find time to relax. Our bodies need it and deserve it. But I do know that getting up and moving feels pretty good too.

Thank you, Valerie. Even in my line of work I occasionally forget how important it is to push through for yourself. This is a wonderful blog.
